The Name

The name Morning Moose ultimately came from our love for the wilderness of Maine and our yearly camping, hiking, and adventures to see (the elusive) moose at Mount Katahdin. We had a list of about 15 to 20 names and we kept narrowing it down. Finally, after an entire month, (seriously we couldn’t decide) we kept coming back to the name Morning Moose. Fun fact: we almost named the company “Halfway Point” as a halfway point between Bangor and Portland however, we thought that might be too much explaining, and was it really exactly half way? So we went with something fun, simple, and meaningful to our Maine roots.
